Event Policy

We would like to remind you that it is important to respect all event policies. These rules are designed to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.

In case of violation of the rules, appropriate measures may be taken, including possible removal from the event. We count on your cooperation to make the event successful.

Code of Conduct

Respect: Participants should treat each other with respect, regardless of background, beliefs or opinions.

Integrity: Participants must adhere to the highest ethical standards within the cybersecurity community.

Confidentiality: Participants must protect any confidential information shared during the convention.

No Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or other characteristics is not permitted.

Use of technology

BYOD: Use of personal devices is encouraged, but participants are responsible for their own security.

Wi-Fi: A public guest Wi-Fi network is available at the venue, which is owned by the venue itself and not by the convention organizers. Participants are advised not to send sensitive information over the public network.

Social media: Participants are encouraged to share their experiences on social media, but must respect the privacy of others.

(Explanation: By respecting the privacy of others, we mean that personal data and recognizable images of other participants, speakers, and attendees are not recorded or shared via social media without permission.)

Information security

Data protection: Personal data of participants will be treated confidentially and processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and will not be provided to third parties.

Photo and video recording: Photos and videos will be taken during the convention. Participants will be informed about this and have the right to object to publication.

Intellectual property: Taking photos or filming of presentations is prohibited unless the speakers specify otherwise . Presentations and other materials shared during the convention are protected by copyright.

Report an incident

Participants are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or incidents to the organization.

Liability

The organization is not liable for loss or damage to personal property.

Participants are responsible for the security of their own equipment and data.

Absence without cancellation (“No-Show”)

Participants who have registered and received a ticket but are absent without a valid reason or prior cancellation will automatically be placed on the waiting list for the next edition.

 

This policy is intended to:

 

  • To ensure fair use of available spaces;

  • To give serious participants a fair chance;

  • To keep planning and organization reliable.

 

 

Explanation

A no-show without timely cancellation will be considered a late cancellation. In that case, the participant will be treated as a waiting list candidate for the next edition, regardless of prior participation.

Exceptions are only possible with timely, verifiable and legitimate communication prior to the event.

 

With this policy, we strive for fair, transparent, and professional cooperation between public and private parties.
