Sara Meijer is an ethical hacker and senior offensive security consultant. She has 10+ years of experience in offensive security and penetration testing. Since moving to Curaçao in 2021 Sara has teamed up with Arcas Partners to be able to offer a full range of offensive security services in the Caribbean.
Sara has extensive experience with security audits and penetration tests on web applications, external and internal infrastructures, mobile applications and cloud environments. Furthermore, she is capable in asking critical questions, solution-based thinking and translating technical results and findings into practical advises for organizations.

In this session, we’re going to look at passwords from a hacker’s perspective. Why are the common rules we all know about passwords so important? How do hackers actually get hold of them? What techniques do they use in the real world?
